DXM or dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a Robitussin cough suppressant that is widely abused by teens and others. It differs from Sizzurp or Drank in that DXM is available over the counter while promethazine with codeine is diverted from prescription medicine supplies. The slang term for DXM is Crush and it’s use is commonly called Robotripping, due partially to the robotic type walk sometimes exhibited by those who use it.
