Many parents forget that tobacco is by far the “deadliest” drug in America. While heroine kills instantly, hundreds of thousands more are killed each year by cigarettes, cigars and chewing tobacco. Nicotine is also responsible for producing neurological changes in teens and young adults that predispose them to additional drug use and addiction later in life. What’s more, electronic products are breathing new life and enthusiasm into what was finally becoming a dwindling market for kids.
